Complains

Indico Capital Partners signed a protocol with CMVM (Comissão do Mercado de Valores Mobiliários), the regulatory authority overseeing financial instrument markets and promoting investor protection in Portugal.

This Protocol establishes a comprehensive framework for alternative dispute resolution (ADR), reinforcing the commitment of management companies to accept ADR requests related to the management of collective investment schemes, or additional and ancillary activities, provided that the amount in dispute does not exceed €30,000 (thirty thousand euros). For this purpose, non-professional investors may use the following arbitrational centers:

− Centro de Arbitragem de Conflitos de Consumo da Região de Coimbra (“CACRC”)

− Centro de Arbitragem de Conflitos de Consumo de Lisboa (“CACCL”)

− Centro de Arbitragem de Conflitos de Consumo do Ave, Tâmega e Sousa (“TRIAVE”)

− Centro de Informação de Consumo e Arbitragem do Porto (“CICAP”)

− Centro de Informação, Mediação e Arbitragem de Consumo (Tribunal Arbitral de Consumo) (“CIAB”)

− Centro de Informação, Mediação e Arbitragem do Algarve (“CIMAAL”)

− Centro Nacional de Informação e Arbitragem de Conflitos de Consumo (“CNIACC”)

We believe that strengthening ADR channels contributes to greater transparency, trust, and protection for all stakeholders in the investment ecosystem.
